You are not alone.
Though seldom shown,
There are those who have grown
To care for what you’ve brought,
To keep you dear in their heart and thoughts.
You are not unseen.
You have actually been
Watched from afar, by those keen
To accept you for who you are, not where you stand
Whether it be the high or low land.
You are not unloved, though so it seems.
Sometimes love can appear in only dreams,
Yet that lessens not the love that beams
Inside the souls who know you well,
Who keep the tales you have to tell.
These words are for you, and for me
Because we both have seen, and still see
That the world is a cage when the spirit is free
And spirits can meet within their own plane,
To dance to the mysteries no one can explain.
